As I got older, I became obsessed with capturing moments of my people on camera so I could freeze time and always remember what life was like in each season.

I've learned that seasons come and go. Some are easier and more exciting than others. Some seasons are kind enough to let you know when they are coming to end or that they will be starting soon. Seasons like the start of a new semester, graduating, first day at a new job, marriage, the birth of your first child, etc.

There are other seasons that come quietly. When you are in them, just living, and don’t stop to think about how it will and may change one day. Then, they go as quietly as they came. — there was no “first time” or “last time” for you to celebrate, acknowledge or grieve. Just coming and going and where I think of the phrase “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone."
